The annual Toys for Tots Parade of Cars is set for November 30, 2003. PCA Hawaii has the distinction of being the lead club for the parade this year. So, let’s all come out and show car clubs in Hawaii the pride we have in our club and in our famous automobiles. Think of it as a moving Concours event, which is judged by other car enthusiasts and more importantly, by the general public. Here’s the specifics:

STARTING POINT: ALA MOANA MAGIC ISLAND PARKING LOT

TIME: PARADE LAUNCHES AT 10:00 AM (but get there early to assemble with fellow members in PCA HI’s designated area)

PARADE ROUTE: Exit Ala Moana Park turn right onto Ala Moana Blvd, then right on Kalakaua Ave, through Waikiki, and veer left on Monsarrat Ave.

PARADE END POINT: Waikiki Shell Parking Lot. A large van manned by Marine Corps personnel will be there to accept your donations.

DONATIONS: Participants are required to bring at least one unwrapped childrens gift and/or a monetary donations.

How time flies when your having fun! And it sure has been a great year with fantastic cruises through all parts of our beautiful island led by innovative cruise coordinators, the Food Bank charity run, a picnic at scenic Kamehame Park in Hawaii Kai, and the perennial Concours event. But now’s the time to reflect on our accomplishments and join one another in the spirit of camaraderie to chalk up another PCA year and ring in the new with excitement and anticipation for higher goals and achievements. More information will be provided as we get closer to the event, however here’s what we have:

PLACE: Mid Pac Country Club 266 Ka`elepuu, Lanikai, Kailua

DATE?TIME: December 13, 5:30 PM until approximately 10:00 PM

DINNER: A fabulous Buffet of tasty morsels that those who attended last year can attest to

COST: To be finalized (currently expected to be around $40 per head)
