Waikiki Elks Lodge Car Show: Also on Sunday,
December 2, pristine models of T-Birds, Ford Racers, and
Porsches will be displayed on the grounds of the Elks facility
in Waikiki. Jonathan Carr, Elks Lodge dining manager, has
asked the Porsche Club to participate. Already confirmed
are two auto clubs, the Thunderbird Club and the Hawaii
Ford Performance Club. Each club has pledged to display
10 cars, each with hopes that the Porsche Club will do the
same. Jonathan has set up a BBQ lunch plate for $6-$7 with
soft drinks and other beverages for sale within the Lodge.
The purpose of this gathering is to visit, share, and view
other fine examples of automobiles. It should be a lot of
fun and if anyone is interested, please call Jonathan
351-4798, Terry 396-6017, or Darryl 395-4446.
